TSF KIDS

EQUIPPING OUR CHILDREN

FOUNDATIONS & FUN!

The mission of TSF Kids ministry is to help parents in the task of equipping their children to faithfully follow Christ for a lifetime. Our Sunday morning programs teach children of God’s love for them, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the foundational principles for life as revealed in the scriptures.

Programs are offered during our Sunday morning 9:30 session. Please take a look below at the opportunities we have for your children (infants through 5th Grade).

Visiting families, please stop in the front lobby and connect with us at the TSF Kids registration desk for check-in procedures and to ensure we receive necessary information on your children.

VOLUNTEERS

Each individual who provides supervision for children in any setting goes through a confidential screening process and background check.  Teens are allowed to serve as well, provided they serve alongside one or more approved adults.

PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

The Infant Nursery is open throughout the Sunday morning sessions for mothers to care for their children or leave their infants in the care of the loving nursery workers. (The room is typically staffed only during the worship service.) Once walking, 1-year-olds are cared for in the Walking Toddlers room. We offer classes for 2’s & 3’s and Pre-K/Kindergarten (4’s-5’s), where class lessons are designed to share the gospel message, teach Bible stories, and introduce basic biblical principles.

EARLY ELEMENTARY CLASSES

Classes for children in Grades 1 through 3 focus around learning the Bible in a fun and exciting environment. After the initial lesson, the session progresses with a game or hands-on activity used to reinforce the teaching. Kids will learn how the Bible is relevant and connected to everyday life.

4TH & 5TH GRADE CLASSES

Classes for preteens are fun and age-appropriate, but also aim to challenge the boys and girls to begin thinking deeper about their faith. Students are encouraged to ask tough questions, dig further into God’s Word, and discuss how they can apply biblical principles to their daily lives.

SPECIAL NEEDS

We desire to work proactively with parents to meet the needs of all children. On your first visit, we will provide a form that will allow you to make us aware of any critical information needed to properly care for your child. This may include common food allergies or any range of medical conditions, or physical, mental, or learning disabilities. Our children’s director may follow up with you to discuss a more detailed plan for effectively teaching, interacting with, and caring for your child.
