Update: New Lobby & Children's Education Wing

On June 22nd, we submitted the final floor plan draft to CES, our civil engineering provider. They are diligently working to complete the full architectural drawings, which we expect to share with the congregation around Labor Day.
While we wait, we extend a special thank you to Zach Foster for using his professional skills to create the attached floor plan for our review. Thank you, Zach!
During July, Bill King, Tim Thorpe, and David Hadigan started the application process for funding from the Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP). This federal DHS/FEMA program provides funding to churches and nonprofit organizations to improve congregational safety through physical security enhancements and related activities. Our initial grant request will focus on updating current cameras, improving access control, and upgrading overall network security in the existing building. Following this initial phase, our team intends to file a subsequent request to help fund security elements in the upcoming lobby and children's education expansion once that project gets underway.
