Our History

We are a body made up of people from three states, from all walks of life, and with varied denominational backgrounds. You will very likely find someone here who is experiencing life in the same way you are.

Tri-State Fellowship began in 1984 as a group of people meeting at the Ramada Inn of Hagerstown seeking a different expression for a church in this community; and in October, 1987, formed an affiliation with the Evangelical Free Church of America.

Through the years, services were held in various locations throughout Hagerstown, until September, 1996, when this 30,000 square foot, multi-purpose facility was completed.

The original philosophy remains the same: Jesus Christ is the solution to the most pressing questions that men and women are facing today. So we work diligently to make our worship services life-related and inspiring. The other ministries of our Fellowship are meant, also, to target the variety of needs that are faced in life.

Our goal is to encourage a thriving relationship with Christ. To facilitate that, we have learning opportunities for all ages, and life stages. Please use the “Connect” option in the menu for more information.
