The Pastoral Search Committee has recently announced its recommendation to put forth a candidate for our next Lead Pastor. He has been enthusiastically accepted by the Board of Elders and we are excited for you to meet David Hara. David is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and most recently served for 10 years as Associate Pastor at Northview Bible Church in Spokane, WA. He and his wife Andrea have four children and live in Greencastle.
The elders are excited to offer multiple opportunities over the next two weekends for you to meet and interact with David, with the congregational vote taking place the following week.
Saturday, July 2, Café Rooms; 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Open House #1 – This is an informal “Meet & Greet.” Pastor Hara will share briefly with those in attendance. Light refreshments will be served. No childcare.
Sunday, July 10, Auditorium; 9:30 am
Worship Service – Pastor Hara will preach and lead the service.
Sunday, July 10, Café Rooms; 4:00—6:00 pm
Open House #2 – This is an informal “Meet & Greet” for those who couldn’t attend the previous one. Pastor Hara will share briefly with those in attendance. Childcare for children 4 and younger. Light refreshments will be served.

- Voting will be open Sunday, July 10, 12pm, through Sunday, July 17, 12pm. Both electronic and in-person options will be available. Detailed instructions coming soon.
- According to the church constitution, the ultimate decision to call a Lead Pastor is subject to an affirmative vote by at least four-fifths of those voting.
- Only church members are eligible to vote.
