At Tri-State Fellowship we are committed to discipling generations to be outwardly focused. We call this life-long, individual process a “spiritual journey”. The programs, retreats, community groups, and monthly events offered for men and women provide opportunities for learning and growth to help each person on the journey, every step of the way.
COMMUNITY GROUPS These groups of 4-12 people meet weekly in homes throughout the community. Our passion is to do life together as we discover the truth of scripture and wrestle with how they will be experienced in life. Out of deep relationship we understand and meet the needs of each other. It is our desire that each group have a heart for their community, looking for ways to serve and reach out in the name of Christ.
iGROW iGrow, our 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM adult education opportunity, gives you the chance to gather together with other men and women in your life stage for a time of discussion, growth, and fellowship.
MARRIAGE CLUSTERS These clusters that meet once each month have a single focus of helping you place a priority on your marriage. During the month these multi-generational groups prepare for group by fulfilling assignments including reading, discussion with your mate, prayer and more. The group then comes together to share a meal and to encourage each other based on the material being studied at that time. This is a place of both encouragement and challenge for the most important human relationship you will ever experience.
MEN’S MINISTRIES The purpose of Men’s Ministries is to build men into a spiritually-minded group who care for their families, others, and all those whose lives they touch. To help accomplish this, we offer opportunities through service projects and events to connect and work together while including a spiritual focus. Bible studies assist our men in becoming the godly men they are meant to be; regular men’s breakfasts provide opportunities for men to enjoy fellowship, discuss upcoming events, and receive a message from the Word. An annual retreat is planned where men can take time away from everyday life to get closer to the Lord, grow in their faith, and have a good time of fellowship.
WOMEN’S MINISTRIES Our desire is to minister to the spiritual needs of women by providing opportunities for them to learn the Word of God; develop a life of prayer; grow intimately with Jesus; develop strong, God-focused relationships; and bring other women to Christ. We offer a variety of opportunities hoping to cover a wide range of interests. Some of our on-going activities include Women’s Bible Studies, breakfasts, a women’s retreat in January 2017, craft nights, and other fellowship opportunities. LIFE SKILLS Life Skills is designed to provide tools to help people rebuild lives and improve self-image. This course offers help for those who struggle with past hurts; help to break free from behaviors that can cause trouble with relationships; improving communication skills; dealing with conflict and managing stress and anger; developing trust.
DIVORCE CARE This program is especially for people who are divorced or separated. Each session consists of teaching time, discussing what was presented and what has been going on in the lives of the group participants. This ministry has brought about great life change and healing for many who have taken part in this 13-week support group.
GRIEF SHARE In a friendly atmosphere, this caring group of people will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. This support group meets for 13 consecutive weeks looking at Christ-centered principles for dealing with loss. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
MISSIONAL OUTREACH The purpose of Mission Outreach is to create opportunities for believers to share their faith in a non-threatening manner by being the hands and feet of Jesus in practical ways and building meaningful relationships with the people they meet. God’s Word commands us to care for the widows, the children and the poor as well as to share His gift of salvation with those that are not believers. Each activity is designed to reach out to those in need and present them with the love of Christ. Another purpose of the team is to provide an outward focus that spans the generations allowing young and old to work side by side.
